In this section, we'll guide you "How to use the ticket vending machine,
automated ticket gate and IC Card" at the station of Enoden Line.
And also guide you how to get on or get off at unmanned station such as
popular destination Kamakura Koko Mae.

How to buy

Touch the screen of the ticket vending machine. (If the screen is turned
off)

Touch "
English" button that is in the bottom-left corner.
It is able to change the indication of the screen into English from Japanese.

Select and push number of tickets from left side buttons. (Gray means number
of adult, Red means number of children)
Touch the ticket of the price that you want purchase.
Total amount shown on the screen.

Please insert Japanese Yen bill / coin / PASMO or Suica IC Card.
Take your ticket, change or IC Card.
*If you want cancel to purchase or change your selection, push the red
"
Cancel [とりけし]" button that is in the bottom-left of the screen.
*If there is something wrong with the machine (freeze, shortchanged, etc.),
swipe the cover and push "
Call [よびだし]" button, that is in the bottom-left of the screen.
You can contact to station staff.
How to use the ticket gate
Enter to the station

Each person have one ticket (even if it is a children).

Insert your ticket "
Ticket In [投入口]", that is in the top-right of the gate and surrounded in a yellow line.

Enter into the gate.
Your ticket appears in the return slot "
Ticket Out [取出口]" that is in forward and surrounded in yellow circle.
Pick up your ticket and pass through the ticket gate.
Exit from the station

Each person have one ticket (even if it is a children).

Insert your ticket "
Ticket In [投入口]", that is in the top-right of the gate and surrounded in a yellow
line.

The gate is open and you can pass through the ticket gate.
*If something wrong with your ticket (data error, damaged etc.) or fare
is short, a chime sounds, gate is closed and the light flashes on and off.
Please go to manned gate and show your ticket
to station staff.
At unmanned station

If you get on a train at unmanned station (Kamakura Koko Mae, etc.), you can get on a train just to buy a ticket.
*If there is something wrong with the machine (freeze, shortchanged, etc.),
press the red button of the silver box that is near the ticket vending
machine. You can contact to Enoden Line staff.

When you get off a train at unmanned station, please hand your ticket to
train conductor or put it in a used ticket collection box [使用済み乗車券入れ] at
the station.
In Kamakura Station, Enoden Line station is located in West Exit [西口].
But the most of major tourist attractions and sightseeing spots are located
in opposite East Exit [東口] side.
You can pass through JR Line station by your Enoden Line ticket, the way
shown below.

Go straight to Transfer gate to JR Line [JR線連絡口].
Press the red button that is in top-right of the ticket gate.

Insert your ticket, pass through the gate and pick up your ticket.
Turn right and go straight to East Exit [東口].
Insert your ticket and pass through the gate.
How to buy

*Kamakura Enoshima Afternoon Pass is only on sale at the ticket counter in following stations from 13:00 to 17:00.
- Fujisawa
- Kamakura
- Enoshima

Touch "

One day free ticket" button (3rd button from the bottom).

Select number of tickets from left side buttons. (Gray means number of

How to use the ticket gate

*Similarly, when you use Kamakura Enoshima Afternoon Pass.

Insert your pass "
Ticket In [投入口]", that is in the top-right of the gate and surrounded in a yellow line.

Enter into the gate.
Your pass appears in "
Ticket Out [取出口]" return slot that is in forward and surrounded in yellow circle.
Pick up your pass and through the ticket gate.
Exit from the station

Each person have one pass (even if it is a children).

Insert your pass "

At unmanned station
If you get on or get off a train at unmanned station, you don't have to
anything and keep your pass normally. Sometimes the train company may examine
ticket specially. When you are demanded, please show your pass.
In Kamakura Station, Enoden Line station is located in West Exit [西口].
But the most of major tourist attractions and sightseeing spots are located
in opposite East Exit [東口] side.
You can through JR Line station by your Enoden Line pass, the way shown
below.

Go straight to Transfer gate to JR Line [JR線連絡口].
Press the red button that is in top-right of the ticket gate.

Insert your pass, through the gate and pick up your pass.
Turn right and go straight to East Exit [東口].
Insert your pass, through the gate and pick up your pass.
How to charge

Touch the screen of the ticket vending machine. (If the screen is turned
off)

Touch "English" button that is in the bottom-left corner.
It is able to change the indication of the screen into English from Japanese.

Touch "PASMO" button (2nd button from the bottom).
Touch "CHARGE/Check Balance History" button.

Insert your "PASMO" or "Suica" IC Card.
Touch the price button that you want charge on your card.
Total amount shown on the screen, please insert Japanese Yen bill.
Pick up your card.
*If you want cancel to charge or change your selection, push the red "Cancel
[とりけし]" button that is in the bottom-left of the screen.
*If there is something wrong with the machine (freeze, shortchanged, etc.), swipe the cover and push "Call [よびだし]" button, that is in the bottom-left of the screen.
You can contact to station staff.
How to use at ticket gate
Enter to the station

Each person have one card (even if it is a children).

Touch your card to "IC" marked circle shined blue, that is in the top-right of the gate.
The gate sounds beep, enter and through the gate.
*If the circle shined red and sounds beep many times, your card is not
read successfully. Please touch once again.
Exit from the station

Each person have one card (even if it is a children).

Touch your card to "IC" marked circle shined blue, that is in
the top-right of the gate.
Amount is deducted, the gate sounds beep and open the door. enter and
through the gate.
*When the circle shined red and beep sounds many times, your card is not
read successfully. Please touch your card once again.
*If you touch your card again, however, keep beep sounds, gate is
closed and the light flashes on and off, it might be something
wrong with your card (data error, damaged etc.) or balance is short.
Please go to manned gate and show your card to station staff.
At unmanned station

When you
get on a train, please touch your card to "IC" marked circle shined blue, that
is center of
green color card reader written as "
Entrance [乗るとき]".
When you
get off a train, please touch your card to "IC" marked circle shined blue, that
is center of
yellow color card reader written as "
Exit [降りるとき]".
If you don't do that, your card will be unable to use. You need to go to
manned ticket gate to adjust the amount and fix the data of
your card, when you get off or get on next time.

In some station, this card reader is placed back to back position.
In Kamakura Station, Enoden Line station is located in West Exit [西口].
But the most of major tourist attractions and sightseeing spots are located
in opposite East Exit [東口] side.
You can through JR Line station by your Enoden Line pass, the way shown
below.

Go straight to Transfer gate to JR Line [JR線連絡口].
Touch your card to "IC" marked circle shined blue, that is in
the top-right of the gate.
Amount is deducted and pass through the gate.

Turn right and go straight to East Exit [東口].
Touch your card and through the gate. The balance of your card is not deducted
here.
