Inner Island
Enoshima Bentenbashi Bridge
The only bridge that is the entrance to Enoshima Island, where you can
enjoy the wonderful view of the ocean and Mount Fuji.
Nakamise Street, Nishiura Cove
A slope street and town developed near Enoshima Jinja Shrine. Here is
the main street of the island where many stores including hotels and shops
that are open for over 100 years. Enoshima Jinja Shrine (Hetsunomiya)
The biggest shrine in the island that worships is a popular sightseeing
place since Edo period about 150 years ago. Nakatsunomiya Shrine
The most brilliant shrine in the island that have a deep relationship
with Kabuki (traditional play of Japan). A colorful place such as beautiful
decoration of the shrine and seasonal flowers. Sea Candle tower, Top of Enoshima
A landmark of the island "Sea Candle" tower stands in this highest
area. It is also known that the majestic Mount Fuji and a beautiful sunset can
be seen here. Oiwayamichi pilgrimage way
Old pilgrimage way to Iwaya Caves the original sanctuary area of the island.
The way is not long, but the ups and downs are intense. One of the island's
rough spot. Okutsunomiya Shrine
There is a oldest shrine in the island that was founded more than 800 years
ago as the original Enoshima Jinja Shrine. The place where the atmosphere
of old Japan town remains.
Iwaya Caves, Chigogafuchi Abyss
The reef known for its beautiful sunset has caves that many monks and rulers
visited, the most sacred place in the island. The caves are also the beginning

The eastern side of the island is an area where the yacht harbor which
becomes the sailing venue of Olympic in Tokyo 2020 and the old port town

A small train station and a railroad crossing nearby by the sea have appeared
as a location for many dramas, movies and anime works. Many tourists from
the world visit here every day.
Inamuragasaki and Shichirigahama coast
The adjacent coastal area in west of Kamakura is known for beautiful sunset
viewing spot together with Enoshima Island and Mount Fuji. Gokurakuji, Jojuin Temple
Here is a small settlement dotted with temples in the mountains on the
western side of Kamakura. Here are some temples that are not large but

Many old temples and shrines in the town are very famous for seasonal flower
spot such as Hasedera Temple and Kosokuji Temple. Great Buddha statue is

There is Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine that was the government house of
